Did You Miss the 29th Jan 2016 ESOS Deadline?
If you have not complied with the ESOS specifications by these two dates: 5th December 2015 (original deadline) & 29th Jan 2016 (discretionary waiver) – see below.
1. The Environment Agency (EA) can now impose the fines of up to £50,000 at any time
2. You will still need to comply – first you need to submit a notification of compliance
3. If you are in the process of ISO15001, you still have time to complete this by March 2016
Our advice is to act quickly and take action towards compliance now, in efforts avoid or curb the fines and to reap the rewards from the required energy audits.
