IU Energy shortlisted for national TELCA Energy Management Award
Plymouth-based energy management specialists IU Energy are celebrating after being shortlisted for a prestigious national award for the second year running.
The company has been named alongside other leading consultancies from across the UK for a TELCA Award – industry authority Energy Live News’ annual celebration of excellence in energy consultancy. IU Energy has made the shortlists for the ‘Energy Management Champion’ award which has been sponsored by GDF SUEZ Energy UK.
A high profile judging panel comprised of senior energy experts from both public and private sectors and industry bodies including Tesco, Sainsburys, Diageo, Starbucks and the Institute of Customer Service.
The shortlisted organisations will be judged by a second panel made up of energy industry experts, with the final announcement being made at the TELCA Awards Ceremony on 25th June 2015.
The news comes on the back of a significant year of growth for IU Energy and the award ceremony itself is an opportunity to showcase the company’s strengths, wealth of expertise and experience in the industry.
Duncan Banks CEO at IU Energy said: “We are really pleased to see the quality of our work recognised by such a prestigious group of experts. Our team has advised on a series of innovative energy reduction projects along with helping larger clients comply with their obligations under the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme which comes into effect in December this year.”
