The Client

Footasylum was founded as a single shop in Cheshire in 2005 by David Makin, who had set up the JD Sports chain with his business partner John Wardle in 1981.

The retailer has made a name for itself as one of the leading high street retailers of fashion streetwear and sportswear.

The Challenge

We understood that the most important thing for Footasylum was to get a cost-effective group energy supply in place quickly and with minimum fuss. The client required budget certainty, lowest price, and the ability to forecast long term, so we recommended a low-risk fixed procurement strategy.

With the client’s continued expansion into the market, they needed to align their energy strategy with their corporate ESOS responsibilities.
