Gail’s Bakery first opened its doors in 2005 and now runs 50 bakeries around London and has its own wholesale business. Itspecialises in handmade, traditional artisan treats, baking fresh handmade bread, pastries, and cakes every day.
They believe in making good bread. As they’ve grown, so has their menu and their community, yet their values have stayed the same. They take the time to make their bread, pastries, cakes, breakfasts and lunches as they always have – with care, by hand and according to the season – so that they don’t need to compromise on what their customers eat, whether we’re on the go, or taking time out in one of their bakeries.
In 2018, the client appointed our Group to renew their energy contract. The business wished to stay firmly in control of their energy budget and take a low-risk approach to their energy buying.
The client was also suffering with differing group contract end dates across a disordered portfolio.
We were also commissioned for siteworks metering project management which included both HH and NHH meter installations, meter and service upgrades and re-energisation, along with sustainability reporting to comply with the Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) legislation.
