This is an exciting time for the company and you will be joining as as part-time Finance Supervisor/Internal Accountant/Accounting Clerk is a dynamic, sociable and rapidly expanding company that supports businesses throughout the UK.

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director this is a varied and responsible position and you will ensure the smooth running of all day to day accounts functions.

This role requires an individual with level 4 AAT or near to completion, with experience in a financial supervisory role.

This is a hands-on role and would suit someone who is proactive and can contribute to the culture of a fast-growing company. You may be looking for a change or looking for the next step up in your career.

Key Responsibilities

The role will include data inputting, invoicing, payroll, sales/purchase ledger, including chasing payments/debts from clients and reconciling Sage accounts ready for the external accountant. Experience of budgeting and forecasting, month end, P&L and preparation of management information is required.

Experience of Sage is essential as is a good working knowledge of Excel. Previous experience using Instant Accounts and collating commissions data for payroll from a CRM system would be a distinct advantage.

The role would suit someone with experience in, or coming from a private sector, small to medium entrepreneurial/commercial enterprise.

Along with the main accounting aspects of the role you will also be required to undertake some HR administration duties including logging of staff reviews and appraisals, holidays etc. Some experience of HR or the HR admin function would be an advantage.

This is a part-time role with negotiated hours spread across Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm, annual leave of 4 weeks pro-rata, plus bank holidays, and EMI share scheme after qualifying period.
