This is an exciting time for the company and you will be joining as as Field Sales Executive is a dynamic, sociable and rapidly expanding company that supports businesses throughout the UK.

The Role

If you have at least one year’s proven track record as a Field Sales Executive and have an ability to exceed sales quota we’d like to hear from you now.

Operating in your own dedicated territory, you will be responsible for building relationships with business owners and decision makers so that you can promote our services – which for this role is primarily renegotiation of energy contracts – case study here. We are an independent broker and have strong relationships with Tier 1 suppliers. You will also be expected to spot engineering opportunities for our M&E division. Our mission is to sell our clients less energy, so if you’re genuinely interested in positively affecting client profitability and reducing their consumption, and carbon footprint, you’ll do well here.

You’ll be working together with our pricing team and will see opportunities through from first contact to close.

Knowledge of the energy sector is not essential – a track record in fast-paced B2B sales is what we’re after.

Key Responsibilities of the Field Sales Executive

Research and identify decision makers

Engage prospects through outbound calls and off-site prospect meetings

Present the benefits of the services we offer

Collect essential data and a Letter of Authority

Close new business electricity and gas clients

Achieve agreed weekly, monthly and quarterly sales targets

Represent the company in a professional and honest manner and adhere to quality standards

The Person

As an IU Energy Field Sales Executive, you’ll be many things, but above all, you will be a charismatic, self-confident person with a healthy dose of integrity in dealing with your clients and your colleagues.

We have gained numerous awards and national recognition over many years because it’s our philosophy to only ever sell the right solution to a prospect or existing client – whatever we sell, it must meet the criteria of reducing the cost impact of constant energy price rises and/or reducing clients’ energy consumption and maximising their ROI.
