Telesales Executive 

£17-20k basic + commission, £30-£35k OTE

Plymouth, Devon

The Company

Multi-award-winning IU Energy is a business that provides energy management services to its B2B clients, including energy procurement, energy reduction solutions, renewable technologies, and water services. From January 2020, we became an independent part of the UK’s biggest energy consultancy, Inspired Energy PLC, and that’s good news for our clients for whom we now have unprecedented purchasing power. It’s also great news for you.

The Role

This is an outbound sales role and you will be developing new business from self-generated and marketing created leads, with the emphasis on building your own client base. You will also be expected to provide leads to our energy management (Engineering) team, so the ability and experience to upsell to qualification point will be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Through outbound calls, to identify, research, engage and close new business electricity, gas and water clients
  • To achieve agreed weekly, monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • To be target focused with proven ability to exceed sales quota
  • To represent the company in a professional manner and continually adhere to quality standards
  • To maintain company records as they relate to your activities

Experience in the energy industry is desirable, but not essential.
